Day 1: Arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Transfer to Phuentsholing (170 km / 5 hrs)
Meet & greet at NJP / Bagdogra.
Drive through scenic landscapes to Phuentsholing, the Gateway to Bhutan.
Check-in at the hotel and relax.
Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
Day 2: Phuentsholing – Thimphu (150 km / 5 hrs)
After breakfast, complete Bhutan immigration formalities.
Drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
En route stop at scenic points like Wankha Waterfall.
Evening stroll around Thimphu Market.
Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing
Visit Buddha Dordenma Statue, Memorial Chorten, and Tashichho Dzong.
Explore Folk Heritage Museum, National Library, and Handicraft Emporium.
Evening free to explore cafes & markets.
Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 4: Thimphu – Punakha (85 km / 3 hrs)
Drive to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan.
Stop at Dochula Pass (10,200 ft) – enjoy a breathtaking view of the Himalayas.
Visit Punakha Dzong, one of the most beautiful monasteries in Bhutan.
Short hike to Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple).
Overnight stay at Punakha.
Day 5: Punakha – Paro (125 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Paro.
Visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in Bhutan.
On arrival in Paro, visit National Museum (Ta Dzong) and Rinpung Dzong.
Evening leisure time for shopping in Paro town.
Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 6: Paro Sightseeing (Tiger’s Nest Monastery Hike)
After breakfast, excursion to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) – the most iconic site of Bhutan.
Optional: Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples.
Evening free for local shopping and café hopping.
Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 7: Paro – Phuentsholing – Drop to NJP / Bagdogra (6–7 hrs)
After breakfast, drive back to Phuentsholing and onward to NJP / Bagdogra.
